“The Most Number of Paper Boats Folded in a
Day”” is officially organized by UTAR Indian Cultural & Language Society.
“The Most Number of Paper Boats Folded in a
Day”” 2013 is a record breaking event
where we aim to create the Malaysia Book’s of Record by making
50000 paper boats from magazines pages in a day with the support from people of

awareness of recycling and saving our nature. It will be held on the 1st
March 2013. “The Most Number of Paper
Boats Folded in a Day”” 2013 are the event name for this meaningful year.
This
event consists of two major parts – the stage and the fiesta part. The fiesta
part consists of minor activities that are related to our theme culture and the
slight fund raising that will enhance the ambience of the day. In the other
hand, at stage part we will have performances (creative, new and fresh ideas)
and the highlight for the day is the creating record session by people which
are instructed and given guidance by organizer and co-organizers.
Officers
from Malaysia Books of Record will be invited to certify this event. The main
aim of this event is to introduce and make the culture to be known by UTAR
community and public.
Lastly,
this event will be a charitable event where we will donate 50% of our profit to
charity organizations which will be decided soon. We believe that by bringing 3500
people of UTARians and public together will give them not only to create the
record but also awareness to recycle and helping the community that needs our
help.
Objectives
1. To give
awareness on recycling to the UTAR community and public.
2. To hold a great chance for community in
UTAR and public to communicate and knowing their friends from different
culture.
3. To bring
UTAR’s name to a high level and recognition by creating the Malaysia record.
4. To raise fund
for underprivileged and orphanage homes.
